According to a leading daily, the actor has been writing a letter a day to his wife and even Manyata has been replying to her husband every single day.

Additionally, the letters are sent by regular post services.

Manyata – who got married to Sanjay at a private ceremony in Goa in 2002 -has also visited her husband in prison a number of times.

Besides exchanging notes on their kids and routine home affairs, Manyata is also said to be keeping the actor abreast of the work being done by their home banner.

Jiah Khan suicide: Suraj Pancholi sent to jail till June 27
Jiah and Suraj dated for an year before the relationship ended
Aspiring actor Suraj Pancholi, charged with the abetment of actress Jiah Khan's suicide, has been sent to judicial custody and will go to jail till June 27, a Mumbai court ruled today.

Mr Pancholi, 21, was arrested on Monday after Ms Khan's family handed over a letter it had found in her bag five days after she hung herself in her Mumbai home. The six-page note does not name anyone, but appears to refer to a romantic relationship. "If I stay here, I will crave you and miss you," the letter says.

Mr Pancholi's lawyer has argued that the letter does not name his client and therefore there is no evidence that he abetted the 25-year-old's suicide. (Also read: Once Bollywood's brightest young thing)

A doctor has testified in court that Jiah had been depressed A post-mortem report has revealed that no marks, apart from those on her neck and throat, were found on her body, police said. No traces of alcohol or drugs were found either. (Also read: Actor Jiah Khan commits suicide in Mumbai home)

Mr Pancholi is the son of Bollywood stars Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab. He reportedly dated Jiah for a year before the relationship ended. "There is a suicide note, there is a statement of (Khan's) mother and some circumstantial evidence of triggering," said Additional Police Commissioner Vishwas Nangre-Patil to news agency AFP when justifying the arrest.

Jiah Khan, born in New York before moving to London and then Mumbai, made her Bollywood debut in 2007 with the controversial film Nishabd, playing a teenager in love with her best friend's much older father, played by Amitabh Bachchan.

She went on to star alongside actor Aamir Khan in the blockbuster Ghajini.

In six-page letter, Jiah Khan wrote: If I stay here, I will crave youJiah Khan's letter indicates she may have committed suicide over a failed relationship
Actress Jiah Khan's final goodbye, a six-page letter found by her family, indicates that the 25-year-old may have committed suicide over a failed relationship. The letter does not mention anybody by name, but appears to be addressed to a former or current boyfriend.
In the letter, Jiah accuses the unnamed boyfriend of cheating on her and says, "If you're reading this I might have already left or about to leave. I am broken inside."
Jiah talks about "kissing goodbye" to her film career and claims that a promise of an engagement after a year of dating was broken.
"Your life was about partying and women. Mine was you and my work. If I stay here I will crave you and miss you," says Jiah in the poignant letter.
The letter, which was found by Jiah's sister and has been handed to the police, gives an insight into Jiah's fragile state of mind. It also appears to indicate that the Nishabd actress was not disheartened over the lack of film offers. Jiah says, "things are looking up for me" in reference to her career.
On June 4, police questioned Suraj Pancholi, son of actors Aditya Pancholi and Zarina Wahab, for three hours. Suraj had reportedly been in a relationship with Jiah for nearly a year and was the last person she spoke to on the night she died.
Suraj and his father Aditya Pancholi have not commented on the contents of the letter.
Jiah's mother Rabiya Amin Khan places the blame for her daughter's death squarely on Suraj. She told the press, "The letter does not have a name, so who it is addressed to is something you can only ask Jiah. But because of the incidents in the past and what she told me, all of these things point out to Suraj Pancholi." She also said that she had urged her daughter to end the relationship.
Jiah Khan was found hanging in her Mumbai home on the night of June 3. No suicide note was found at the time.
Jiah, real name Nafisa, appeared in three movies in her short lived career. She starred opposite Amitabh Bachchan in Nishabd in 2007, had a small but pivotal role in 2008's Ghajini opposite Aamir Khan, and was the third female lead in Housefull (2010) with Deepika Padukone and Lara Dutta.

Suraj Pancholi's mother and Jiah Khan's mother have stormy meeting
Zarina Wahab is the mother of Suraj Pancholi
Reconciliation, not sorry, seems to be the hardest word. After the events that followed Jiah Khan's untimely death -- which included Aditya Pancholi's son Suraj getting arrested for abetting the young actress's suicide -- his mother Zarina Wahab decided to give her grieving counterpart Rabiya Amin a personal visit. Going by the accounts of an onlooker, the meeting didn't result in many warm moments.

Apparently, it was Aditya's Pancholi's idea. After Tuesday's court proceedings, the actor asked an old family friend (a journalist-turned-filmmaker) to meet wife Zarina and daughter Sana at a suburban hotel so as to help them figure out how they can help Suraj in the forthcoming legal battle. There, Zarina allegedly insisted that meeting Rabiya at her place would be the right thing to do.

The filmmaker, on condition of anonymity, says, "I was surprised to hear that they wanted to meet Rabiya. Intriguingly enough, the building where she stayed is right next to the hotel."

Nonetheless, the old friend accompanied Zarina and Sana to Rabiya's apartment in Juhu to convey their condolences and talk for "at least two minutes". However, Rabiya didn't take the whole plan too well and in moments of anger, lashed out at Zarina. Watching this drama unfold was Tom Thomas, Rabiya's alleged current boyfriend.

As expected, the two mothers unabashedly expressed their grievances. According to our source, "Suraj had visited Rabiya on May 18 and expressing concern at Jiah's hyper behaviour, had requested her to take her daughter to see a counsellor. Zarina reminded her of that and asked her why she didn't do the needful." She also reminded her that Tom was present when that happened.

At this Jiah's mother stormed inside and Tom rudely asked the three women to leave the place. Interestingly, there was not a single electronic mediaperson standing outside the building when they reached the venue.

On conditions of anonymity, the filmmaker confirmed the incident and stated, "I was unwillingly drawn into this. I was only trying to help both the mothers heal but unfortunately I don't know how it became a media tamasha. I still don't know who called the media there."
Sanjay Dutt to make paper bags in jail, will earn Rs 25 a day
Jailed Bollywood actor Sanjay Dutt will be trained to make paper bags at the Yerawada Central Jail, official sources said on Saturday. He is likely to be paid Rs. 25 per day.

Dutt is undergoing his 42-month prison sentence after being linked to the 1993 Mumbai terror attack. It is his second stint in the jail.

A jail official said the actor will be trained to make high quality, heavy duty paper bags with a capacity of 6-8 kg, which are now gradually replacing plastic bags in the market.

He is likely to get a remuneration of Rs. 25 a day for this laborious work. However, depending on his skills and efficiency, the payment could gradually go up to Rs. 40 per day.

The official indicated that in view of security concerns, Dutt will undertake this task indoors, inside his maximum security enclosure.

Dutt had expressed a desire to carry out heavy duty work in the prison which would help him keep fit, but this was declined on security grounds.

During his previous prison stint over a decade ago, Dutt was trained to make cane chairs, an outdoor chore.

Other jobs in the prison include making heavy and light furniture, candles, bags and other items of daily use which are sold outside through NGOs or government departments.
